FAQ

What grade of stainless steel do you use?

Every rack we make is 100 percent Grade 304 stainless steel, also known as 18/8. Each rack contains a minimum of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. The nickel aids in corrosion resistance.

Some stainless steel cooling racks use Grade 201, or 18/0, which contains no nickel and is more likely to rust.

Can the rack be used in the oven? What is the highest temperature it can withstand?

All our racks are approved for oven use up to 575 degrees. They also work well on grills and broilers.

What is the size of the square openings? How much space is between the wires?

For all racks, the wires are 3/8” apart (1 cm). This tight pattern keeps smaller foods like French fries from falling though the openings.
